About the Event
This special Dynamics 365 super user training course is open to both end users, IT users and Business Central partners. In this course, we will focus on the main administration aspects of transacting and reporting in Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC). This course will also cover main differences between Dynamics GP and Dynamics BC along the way.
This is a two-part virtual training class, to be held on the follow days and times. Class sizes are limited.

This course will cover the following topics, with best tips and tricks in mind.
- Finance:
Learn how to create major core financial transactions. Including general ledger setup, posting dates setup and cutoff, posting groups, chart of accounts, statistical accounts, general journals, correcting journal entries, budgets, standard journals, recurring journals, cash receipts journal, bank deposits, bank transfers, correcting bank transactions, bank reconciliation, and more. This section will cover reporting for the financial module as well as financial statements.
- Purchasing:
Learn how to create vendors, setup vendors for 1099 and ACH, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, purchase invoices, purchase credit memos, correcting purchase transactions and payments and returns. This portion of the class will cover applying credit memos, reversing transactions, paying vendors via ACH and Check, generating EFT/ACH files and positive pay. This section will cover reporting for the purchasing module.
- Sales/Inventory:
Learn how to create customers, basic items, sales quotes, sales orders, shipments, returns, sales invoice processing, recurring sales lines, sales credit memos, emailing sales order information and sales invoicing, sales journals, item adjustments, correcting sales transactions and more. This section will cover reporting for the sales and inventory modules.

This class will be led by Shannon Mullins, Microsoft MVP
Shannon Mullins is the CEO and founder of A BC Consulting Group and a Microsoft MVP of Business Applications. She has over 20 years' experience across a wide variety of disciplines and products, including accounting, information technology, professional services, insurance, healthcare, mortgage lending, distribution, manufacturing, project management, and deployment and implementation of CRM and ERP systems. Shannon has a deep understanding of the functional aspects of projects, process automation and system design, and the reporting needs and requirements for complex ERP systems. Shannon is a former controller and accountant and holds a master's degree in accountancy.
She currently resides in Nashville, TN, and is an experienced international speaker and teacher.
